Wayne Howard-Saunders aka The Painless Artist talks about the West Suffolk Paint and Pour event in Brandon. Wayne joins Suffolk Open Studios as Membership Secretary. Wayne presents 'The Science of The Resurrection 2026' a surreal Christian artwork submitted to the Christian Art Prize. Living with complex spinal injuries and chronic pain, Wayne rediscovered his creativity through psychotherapy supported by the Cauda Equina Champions Charity. As a Charity Ambassador, he uses art to raise awareness of Cauda Equina Syndrome, explore faith, science and disability, and inspire others to find hope and purpose through life's challenges.

I'm pleased to confirm I will be exhibiting two main pieces of artwork for the first time with Suffolk Open Studios. Two of my original acrylic surrealist paintings titled 'Beyond Belief' and 'Swoop & Scoop For a 99! created in my Suffolk Studio will be available to purchase.

This morning I had the urge to distract myself from over thinking and living with realising my chronic injuries feels like they have got worse. I didn't know what to paint which is in itself an obvious bug bear for any artist. So, I wanted to be in the moment and just go with the flow and see where it takes me! Once the paint hits the canvas, the vibrancy of the colours seems to satisfy my creative urges and dampen down my frustrations to som3 degree. There is also something
