Progress Is Progress With The Crown Of Thorns Coming To Life!

My body is physically wrecked today so working very slow, as the pain has been high so concentrating is difficult. I'm not pressuring myself and just to enjoy the art. I use art as part of my pain management and a new direction living with significant injuries and conditions.
The artwork is based on my vision I had a between sleeps and I place items where I see where they should be, this seems to be my creative process.
The original final piece titled: 'The Science of The Resurrection' created with acrylics on canvas, is a strong piece in my original but felt the painting element and finish doesn't do it justice and how I mentally see the image to look. Plus I feel my skills needed to be improved to pull off the image I am looking for and being true to my mental image.
Despite the physical and mental frustrations and that is being polite! I need to be creative, So spent an hour towards bringing the Crown of Thorns to life!
Every hour is a step closer to bring my surrealist and personal stlye of art to life.
I'm aiming to submit the artwork at the end of this month for the Christian Art - 'Faith Art Prize ! 🙏
I can't wait to see this develop with all of you! and come alive and bring my subconcious to another level through art.
