The Painless Artist Going Purple For Cauda Equina Syndrome Awareness Day- 1st October
To celebrate Cauda Equina Syndrome Awareness day, on the 1st October, Wayne Howard-Saunders aka. The Painless Artist who has experienced 2 episodes of CES, will be showing his support in raising awareness by wearing purple clothes, painting in purple and dying his thick wavy hair purple....actually, I think he will skip the last part for the obvious reason!

Did you know Up to 6 people a day in the UK are diagnosed with Cauda Equina Syndrome. When Cauda Equina Syndrome (CES) is suspected, timely recognition, assessment and treatment matters. Wayne Howard-Saunders has been supported by the great team at The Cauda Equina Champions Charity, who have supported Wayne and his family at all stages since diagnosis, with a wide range of services and uses his art to share his experiences of living with this serious long-term spinal injury. Wayne is now a Champions Charity Ambassador and you can help show your support by GOING PURPLE!!!
Go Purple
Show your support for CES Awareness Day by going purple – whether it’s a purple top, socks, accessories or purple hair, anything goes. Just have fun and get adventurous. If it’s at home, in the office or meeting with friends, everyone can get involved.
