Wayne Howard-Saunders / The Painless Artist Featured In Artists & Illustrators Magazine
I'm pleased to announce my feature interview with Niki Browes, Editor of Artists & Illustrators Magazine December's edition is now available online and in print.
Niki has captured my story and journey as an artist with disabilities and the challenges I have faced with Cauda Equina Syndrome and multiple conditions. I have used art as a self therapy with the intervention of psychotherapy sessions with Hewa Khalilifa from the Cauda Equina Champions Charity 1187294. The 'Champions Charity' have supported myself in many ways, and their intervention has helped myself in communicate my message about CES.
My mission is to spread the awareness about Cauda Equina Syndrome through the arts to a global audience. My artistic work fits comfortably under the realms of surrealism, given I have constant broken sleep due to the chronic pain and injuries. I see most images between sleep states and how my artistic name plays a big part with interpretation!
