The concept was created from a sketch of a vision Wayne had seen as a result of painting a lone lumbar vertebrae. Thus to demonstrate loneliness from the impact of spinal injury & how having family round you brings you back to feeling included and relevant. Wayne also brings an element of humour in his work with surrealist symbology.
